Sylvie the Sparrowhawk (based on a true story).

- One day in our garden I saw a bird. It looked like a owl. Miara thought it was a kestrel but it didn't looked like one. I found out it was a Sparrowhawk who was a baby girl. I called her Sylvie. We took pictures and looked at it with our neighbours. There was no birds apart from 4 pidgeons and it was there for 45 minutes.
- Run every bird. SPARROWHAWK ALERTTTTTTTTT!
- Finally she flew away.
- She flew on the roof.
- Hide!
- Better luck next time
- She swooped down and went into a bush and we heard birds squeaking but when she came out she didn't catch anything. The doves and the pidgeons were to big to be eaten.

- Phew!
- Can't get us
- Then she came towards the door so mummy was scared and closed the door quickly but as mummy closed the door, she turned left, down the road.
- We went for a walk, saw Daddy's fake colleague, his wife and his dog and went for a Sylvie hunt. She was on the rooves and flew from house to house quickly over hedges, drives and cars. The last time we saw her was on a house but then she flew away. We hoped she'd come back but she never did. I know she'll come back, she just needs time.
