- Hi Katie, we'd like two lattes and a scone.
- I've already told you my name! It's KATE!
- Well, I like to call you Katie.
- Maybe we should call you jerk instead.

- Hi Katie, we'd like two lattes and a scone.
- Cool, I'll get that going for you. I know Kate and Katie sound a lot alike but I really prefer Kate.
- Well, I like to call you Katie....but I guess it's your name.
- I really appreciate you making the effort. It may sound stupid but "Katie" feels like a little kid to me.
- I dunno what her issue is but it's her deal and minding my own business is free...
- Thanks for giving me a chance to make it right and correcting me with kindness.
