WE ARE FREE!!!
Everyone remembers the story when God saved the Israelites parting the waters of the sea and leading them back across dry land, then closing the waters on the approaching the Egyptian charioteers. The Egyptians drowned and the Israelites were FREE! The Jews still celebrate these events today, which they call the Passover Feast.

The Israelites knew that God was with them when escaping Egypt. Nevertheless, after wandering in the desert they doubted God and Moses. God still provided and cared for them. God and Moses met on the mountaintop and sealed the faith of the people with the historic Sinai Covenant, the Israelites agreed to abide by God’s guidance, the cornerstone of the sacrament, which then became the law of the Ten Commandments.
