I am Coronado.In 1540 me and my men went to search for a city of gold Cibola.We found the Grand canyon, the Pacific ocean and the Palo Duro canyon but never found the Seven Cities of Gold.I brought back valuable information about the region but no gold in Texas.My Journey influence the Spanish to ignore and Abandon Texas.

- Hello!.I am the famous french explorer La Salle.In 1685 I was set out to the Mississippi river to establish a colony.I went out with 4 ships full of supplies and food but lose one of them to pirates.In 1685 I did not arrived at the Mississippi river but the Matagorda Bay in Texas by accident,I lost a another ship to a sandbar in the bay and then built fort Called Fort St. Lousic In the Texas Coast claiming the place for France.We faced problems with the Karankawa tribes and diseases.We decided to get to Mexico to get more supplies and my fort got attacked by the karankawa tribe.In 1687 me and my 7 other survivors left for French Canada but was killed by my own men.my story made Spain more interested in Texas again and caused a rivalry against Spain and france
