- Fuyuko Irie was a lonely proofreader and one day encounters a man called Mitsutsuka, Fuyuko met him while she was rushing to the bathroom needing to puke. she almost puked on his shoes, so she went to apologies. The second time she came across Mitsutsuka was when she came back a week later to make up for the bathroom situation but she drank 4 cans of beer before this, so she fell asleep in the lobby and woke up to her purse being stolen. Fuyuko and Mitsutsuka tried to find the stolen purse but failed instead the man paid for fuyukos train ticket and she asked for his number so she could pay him back.

- They met up a few days later, and talked about what they do in their daily life. When they were walking home together Fuyuko remembered that Mitsutsuka mentioned that he is a physics teacher, so she told him that she likes light and concidentally did he too and told Fuyuko that when they meet up again they should talk about light. After that they met up with each other at the cafe every week to talk random things. Fuyuko slowly fell in love but knew that this would never work out, so she stopped seeing him.
- Yeah, i know.
- You find talking to me nice.. but I drink all the time, if I don't drink I cant even speak normally, I haven't had anything to drink today.. and everytime we meet up I was.. you know.

- Fuyuko, struggling with her loneliness, decided to contact Mitsutsuka again and asking him if he ever imagined them together. He said yes and a few days later they went out for dinner. After this dinner they went outside and this was the first time fuyuko felt loved, this led to an emotional breakdown, but also a moment of self-realization. She begins to understand her need for connection and light in her life. By the end, Fuyuko starts to embrace change, signifying hope and personal growth as she moves forward with a renewed sense of purpose.
