- Hi there! I'm Marie Curie. I was born on November 7, 1867 in Warsaw Poland. I am a French Scientist and have always been fascinated with the nature of the sciences.
- From a young age, I was obsessed with education. I wanted to learn as much as I could. I studies in Paris and eventually made my way into scientific laboratories were I studied scientific elements.
- "Hey, maybe we should work together!"
- While doing my studies, I met Pierre Curie. He was just as in love with science as I was! We got married in 1895.
- Me and Pierre were soon at work making new Scientific Discoveries. We discovered new elements such as Polonium and Radium.
- We soon made an unbelievable discovery while working with these new elements. We notices spontaneous energy eruptions which we soon discovered was a phenomena we called radioactivity.
- After making all of these scientific discoveries, I was awarded a Nobel Prize. My study of elements and radioactivity completely change the way the world saw chemistry and led to the US's advancement of Science. I unfortunately died in 1934 from health complications due to radiation exposure. My death however, saved many more lives in the future.
