- A traveler is traveling across the harsh wasteland of the silk routes, as he encounters three different sages, each of different practice as he asks words of wisdom from them each.
- What words of wisdom does thy have?
- I am a disciple of Confucius, a teaching of showing those unknowing that the key to harmony is to be knowing of your role and place, respect the elderly and the patriaches and matriaches of the family, as the golden rule states- do not do unto others what you would not have them unto upon you.'
- What words of wisdom do you have?
- I am but a simple practitioner of Daoism, we believe that letting life be natural, let it flow free, but in order to do that we must surpress the desire to want, and only live as life wants us to, anyone who denies shall be ignored.
- What words of wisdom do you have for me?
- I am a soldier from the Qin army, I have been taught the ways of legalism. We place order and control over any other concern, without order, or harsh rules, people won't be less evil, they were born evil, all mankind is born evil, we are simpily enforcing rules to repress that evil. If they act evil, the punishment shall assist in cleansing them, the government shall assist us too.
- The traveler, having listened to each sage from their own philospohies, kept their words close, as he wandered fowarded, walking to his goal.
