- Narrator:While rain is pouring down, they finally have arrived at the hospital with Jack.
- Narrator: Jack regains consciousness after a very long 4 days with having to be on a ventilator to assist him in his breathing.
- Doctor Kimberly: You are at the New York General Hospital. Please do not fret about it, I will fill you in on all the details soon, but first there is someone here to see you.
- Jack Steel: Where am I?
- Jacks mother: (Yells from a distance) JACK MY CHILD, THANK GOD YOU ARE OKAY. (Sobbing extremely hard)
- COVID 19 AWARENESS
- Narrator: Jack's Mother arrives to see her son lying in bed recovering. Jack says the unexpected! The doctor makes a shocking revelation about Jack's health reports.
- Jack Steel: MOM I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!
- Jack's Mother: I have been in shock and distraught throughout these four days that you have been gone.
- Doctor Kimberly: (Speaks from outside the room) Ma'am I need to speak to your son alone in private about his COVID-19 test.
- Jack's Mother (cont.): My, your attitude has changed.
- Narrator: Doctor Kimberly comes into the room to report.... Jack then feels an immense amount of shock!
- Jack Steel(cont.): Now that I think of it, I did have a get together with two of my closest friends a couple of days ago, but not with anyone else.
- Jack Steel: Thank you so much DOC for everything!
- Jack Steel: NO THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! I CAN NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER GET INFECTED WITH THAT VIRUS!
- Doctor Kimberly: Jack I have some news. We got back your COVID-19 test results from the day you were brought here. They state that you were tested positive for the Coronavirus. I have a question for you.
- Doctor Kimberly(cont.): Well it indeed happened. Did you follow the rules and regulations as per the health director advised.
- Doctor Kimberly:That alone explains a lot. It seems that you may have contracted the virus from one of your friends. I have been seeing improvements in your health and will allow you to leave as you are COVID-FREE because I tested you again this morning. YOU ARE DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL!
- Narrator: Jack finally arrived home after finishing all the formalities that had to be done at the hospital. He was sitting at his campfire in the evening then thinking to himself...…
- Jack Steel: What if I had done things differently and actually took the time to study and help health officials combat this virus, would I be in the situation that I was in. I have had experience with it so no one knows better than me the feeling of having shortness of breath and other symptoms. I have the money, resources and everything I need to develop a vaccine. I WILL CHANGE!
- Narrator(cont.): From that point on, Jack was a changed man.....
