- Wow its beautiful. I love the outdoors. Dad I've always wondered, do plants eat?

- Dad remember when we were outside we were talking about plants you mentoined photosynthesis, what is that?
- Dont give the boring explanation
- Well it is complicated but I will explain best as I can:There is this thing called chlorophyll which captures light energy from the sun.
- Everyone get comfy we may be here awhile.1.Chlorophyll, captures the sunlight energy.2.This energy splits the water into hydrogen and oxygen.3.The oxygen is released into the air.4.The hydrogen is used with carbon dioxide to make sugars.
- This is still the boring version
- 5.The sugars aremovedfrom the leaves to other parts of the plants where they are stored.6.The water in the plant veins carries the sugars.7.When the sugars reach the storage parts they are changed into starch.
- Thank you for helping me with the garden girls but now it is time for bed
