- Slavery was one of the main causes of the civil war. The south wanted to keep slaves because of the amount of money they where making. The North wanted to free all saves, this caused nullification and states rights, causing turmoil and conflict.

- The Battle of Chickamauga was the second deadliest battle in the civil war, and temporarily held the Union back from taking ATL, but this only led them to resupply and ultimately take Atlanta.
