- It is most likely that the boat was the first method of transportation. There has been evidence of boats found in Australia that date back to about 10,000 years ago. Boats back then were made of tree trunks.

- In 1783 the first steam boat was made by Claude de Jouffrey in France, and his invention was changed and built upon for years to come. Claude de Jouffrey´s boat was both similar and different than the Australian boat and was used for more public transportation.

- In 1801 the locomotive was made by Richard Threvthick. His invention was improved in 1824 when modifications were made by George Stephenson, to make it so it was large enough to transport things, because before it was too small.

- The Romans, french, Australian, Mexican, and more all helped the way we Transport today.
- The chariot was one of the Romans favorite ways to travel, similar to the car for us. Unlike the car, the chariot had two wheels and was pulled by horses. But this isn't the only thing the car is related to.
- People search for evidence of the very first wheel but no one really knows what it was. A kids toy with wheels was found buried deep in Mexico and this toy was dated back a lot longer ago than we thought the wheel was made. Surprisingly, this children´s toy might be related to the car.
- Wow this is related to my car?
- Whether we know it or not many of generations of inventors helped us get to the point we are at with transportation.
