- I am different and that's okay

- At least that's what mom says
- During recess I walk in a daze
- Discovering what looked like a cave.
- I grow suspicious and open the door
- There is a whole new world to explore
- As I look around everyone looked different, it was a new world and it was magnificent
- I walked around speechless by everything in sight
- There was something about this world, something bright
- As I traveled for what felt like hours, I knew it was time to return
- So I put my foot down and I took a turn
- As I walked back I was stopped
- I jumped so hard everything I had dropped
- Are you new around here?
- I was asked
- Something like that
- The truth I masked
- Well you're beautiful might I add
- Oh stop it, I wish
- I never got her name. I hope to meet her again
- I continue to stride out with my new found confidence
