This place is nice but thewater is bad.
Lewis and Clark are walking through Kansas and talking about good things from it. The only thing they do not like is the water.

This is Pike talking about it's dryness. He thinks that it is unlivable.
Pike was right, this land is useless.

Jackson's speech, this was a negative move on Indians. The things he said about them made people think that they were true savages.
This is a American telling Indians that they have to move. This caught them by surprise but they knew they had no choice.
