- Smoke, gasses & heat from factories and cars go up into the atmosphere and spread aroundthe world
- these gasses ( carbon dioxide ) create a layer in the atmosphere that traps heat on earth and makes it warmer. This phenomenon is called global warming
- Global warming melts the ice and threatens wildlife animals there
- melting of ice increases sea level, flooding , and erosion some islands and cities are slowly sinking over the years
- Global warming causes climate changes too;summers are longer, warmer and frequent extreme weather
