- I'm in one of the most important innovations of Muslims scholars! Can you guess what it is? Hospitals! Muslim scholars created the first ever hospitals that used evidence-based medicine,conducted surgeries, and gave medical care. This was a very important innovation because now, many people could be taken care of and give the right care that they needed. They used hospitals to treat people, but they also used hospitals to teach more about the medical field and to research. Hospitals are very important, even now. I'll explain more in the next slide.
