Him and his whole family.'" This shows how quick he was to accuse to take suspicion away from himself. Lastly, on page eleven when the character Steve says to another character, Les Goodman, "'That's exactly what it is-some kind of madness.'" These reasons from a short story show how blaming others, being fearful, or being suspicious will almost always lead to conflict. When desperate, we lose trust, and hate or fear replaces it. If bias was not a rule of the human mind, the world would be a better place.
