- Jeff and Mark had left college on Friday evening, and they were heading home to get ready for their party with their friends later that night. They were both excited to head to the party and do fun things like play Ping Pong and video games.
- However, there was a small problem for Mark.
- Hey Mark, what's that on your hand?
- I'm not sure, it seems like some type of red spot that I've had for a couple days.
- Mark, I fear that might be a skin disease known as Psoriasis. My aunt had been diagnosed with this a couple of years ago.
- I've had strep throat for a couple of days too, and I think that could have triggered it on my hand.
- You could have had other symptoms or side effects of it too.
- Yeah, ever since this red spot came on my hand, I've had some itching and my skin is more dry.
- Jeff, I was really looking forward to this party, but this mark on my hand is gonna embarrass me.
- Hey don't worry Mark, we don't know yet if it's actually Psoriasis. First, let's consult a doctor to confirm.
- Okay, let's see.
