- The English settlers were prompted to seek a treaty. The treaty would be for the Cherokee only. It would be used to prevent the Cherokee from befriending the french.
- No protection for Cherokee
- The Cherokee interpreted the peace treaty to be alliance. The British saw it was acknowledge Of British rule. The peace between them only lasted 30 years that is why it is called the 30 years of peace.
- Cherokee War
- Cherokee warriors felt that they were getting cheated on by the British, but the Cherokee took possession of the British horses. The British settlers attacked the Cherokee because of what the Cherokee did the the British. As a result, the British failed to give protection to the Cherokee to start the war.
- Cherokee loses all their land
- The British failed to protect the Cherokee. When the French and their Indianallies attacked the British they couldn't really do anything. That is why the British didn't protect the Cherokee anymore.
- The Cherokee war lested from 1758-1761. The Cherokee war lasted many years ans as a result many dreaths was from the CHerokee. After the war Cherokee hold to give up all of their land.
- U.S. troops, prompted by the state of Georgia, expelled the Cherokee Indians from their homeland in the Southeast. They removed them to the Indian Territory in what is now Oklahoma.a small group of Cherokee leaders signed the Treaty of New Echota that year, agreeing to relocate the entire Cherokee Nation to western lands.
