- Ha ha, we can go to school and you can't!
- Phew! this is hard work!
- I wish I could just go outside and not have to pretend to be someone i'm not!!
- Luke is a third child and has to hide or else he can be taken away from his family for breaking the law. But luckily, he lives in the country, in a small barn so he can go outside.
- I hope I don't get caught!
- New houses were being built by Luke's house. That meant that he could not go outside anymore.
- Why are you in my house!?
- One day, Luke saw a girl in the Sports family house. They only had boys, so Luke thought she might be a 3rd child like him.
- We have all of the third children march together !
- Luke finally decided to go to the Sports families house to see if there really was a 3rd child like Luke. He had to be really careful when going over to the house because he could not be seen.
- When Luke went in the house there was a girl inside. She tackled him to the ground because he just broke in to her house.
- Luke and Jen soon become friends and saw each other pretty much every day. They started making a plan on how to stop the population law and allow 3rd children.
