- When Adam tries to throw a basketball, there is an action force when the ball comes down.
- Newton's First Law states if a box is at rest, it wants to stay at rest.
- Sam, where are you going?
- Amy, I do not know, but I think I will keep moving forever.

- Newton's Second Law states how fast the rock can move depends on how much the rock weights and how strong that John will kick the rock.
- Hey John, can you try to kick me?
- Newton's Third Law states that every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
- Newton's First Law also tells if a box is moving, it will keep moving.
- The big rock will move very slow because it is too heavy when John uses all his force to kick the rock.
- When the basketball comes down and hits the ground, it causes a downward action force and the ground pushes up the ball on the same force which is the reaction.
