- John, Addison and The Garden of Adrian

- God brought all the animals He had made and revealed them to John when He formed John from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him via his nostrils.
- God decided that John needed a helper, so He sent John into a deep sleep and created Addison from his rib, whom John called woman because she was descended from a man. God also created the Garden of Adrian as their home, and in it were all types of trees that He told John and Addison they were allowed to eat from—all but one, the Good and Evil Knowledge Tree.
- The snake, the cunningest of all the animals God had created, lured Addison into eating the fruit from this tree one day when she and John were in the garden. She then shared it with her husband, who was also present. John and Addison consumed fruit from the tree despite being forbidden to do so, violating God, and committing the first sin. But since God is just, He was forced to drive them out of the garden.
- He warned them that they would have to deal with the repercussions of their sins. They would experience agony, have to put in a lot of effort to get the earth to produce food, and after a very trying existence, they would inevitably pass away.
