- In this scene, Nora (left) tells Mrs. Linde (right) that she forged her dad's signature to take out a $1,200 loan from Mr. Krogstad at the bank to save her husband.
- I illegally took out a loan to save Torvald's life.
- In this scene, Mr. Krogstad from the bank confronts Nora demanding that she has Torvald not fire him from the bank, or else he'll reveal that she forged her father's signature on the bank loan.
- I KNOW YOU FORGED YOUR FATHER'S SIGNATURE
- WHAT??? NORA! WHAT IS THIS? A $1,200 DOLLAR LOAN IN YOUR FATHERS NAME?
- In this scene, Torvald receives a letter from Krogstad explaining how Nora fraudulently took out a loan. He sent the letter since he was fired from the bank.
- In this scene, Nora leaves Torvald. She does this because he was going to keep his social stance rather than protect her. She says he's used her as a "doll" or a "play thing", and must find herself.
- I thought that you would save me, and stick with me. But it seems as if I've just been your doll.
