Today we are going to learn about photosynthesis. what better way to learn than by a fieldtrip. Lets go!
Alright kids we're here! Who better to teach us about photosynthesis than plants themselves
Hello Kids , I'm miss lavender and ill be teaching you about photosynthesis
carbon dioxide
Plants absorb carbon dioxide , water and sunlight, which is captured through green pigment called "chlorophyll" on the leaves of plants
water
sunlight
The sunlight , water and carbon dioxide enter a plant cell and go to the chloroplast organelle. Here the water , assisted by sunlight , separates to make hydrogen. The hydrogen then mixes with the carbon dioxide to make oxygen and glucose
oxygen
glucose
glucose storage
Glucose is a type of sugar that can either be stored for later or it can be used for cellular respiration to make food
oxygen is a gas that all living beings need to breathe in order to live
