- 1. In this sense Bobby asks his dad if he could chaperon at the school dance, but his dad tells him that he will think about it. Later that night Bobby's dad asks him if he would like to watch the movie the Godfather part II. Bobby say yes since he loves all the classic movies. The event of the story is how we find out some of Bobby's background. Here we have Bobby and his Dad, they are talking about the school dance and a movie, it is September something 2000 at night time around 8, it is in their RV in Paintbrush Falls, they are talking because they like to keep InTouch and they are they are talking about this in a calm way.

- 2. A personal connection that can make to the character Bobby in this scene is how Bobby was asked to come with Addie so that see didn't feel lonely with all the eyes on her. So the connection I can make to Bobby is that one of my friends once asked me to go with them so that they had a friend there with them and I said yes to not hurt there feelings but I didn't want to because I am shy and like to have people watching me and so is Bobby. The reading made me think of how I was like Bobby and how we are both afraid to be judged and don't like talking to others that we don't know that much. Also. the part where DuShawn said yes made me feel like he wasn't such a bully and I was shocked. DuShawn kind of reminds me of a friend in my class who I didn't really know and thought was a little mean but then after I got to know him then I kind of started to become friends with him.

- 3. A text to text connection is how Bobby didn't even say that he would be treasurer but was and he just went along with it. In the book Wonder August's mom tells him that he is going to the school without his opinion but he went along with it like Bobby did. A text to world connection is how they are all meeting up to talk at a restaurant. People all around the world sometimes meet up with a friend or friends and have a conversation like the kids are doing here. This section makes me have questions if DuShawn is changing, is DuShawn going to be the fifth member of the group and more. I think that the author is trying to show that everyone can change, don't judge a book by its cover, one thing can change your life, don't bully people for who they are and maybe more. I think that the author's message so far is that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, also it could be try to get to know the person before you despise them. I think that he wrote this piece because it was a key part to DuShawn changing and becoming more nice

- 4, I notice that there was some forshadowing in the book so far, also he has written it in like a way that makes the reader want to hind out what happens in the end. The style that the author does in his writing is something that I would like to do in my work, as the author uses forshadowing, humor, character, plot and more. A piece that I enjoyed in this part of the reading is when Bobby was in Awkworth & Ames and Bobby help a lady and got her to buy 4 ties instead of 1 or none and wanted his boss to see but he left because of a call. A part that didn't work to well was how Bobby's boss left because of a call and Bobby didn't get to brag. I would have changed it to Bobby's boss staying a little but longer to see Bobby help the customer and him getting to brag.
