- in the atmosphere, carbon is accumulated in a form of gases (C02) before travelling down to surface for photosynthesis.
- Hey there! we are C02 (soon to be carbon) and we start our lives in the atmosphere, before travelling down to the biosphere to start our journey in the carbon cycle, come with us to explore!
- carbon dioxide has now been removed from the atmosphere and will be used up by plants as well as sunlight for the photosynthesis step in the carbon cycle. This procedure breaks down carbon dioxide into compounds that plants use for growth, energy and nutrition and later liberate oxygen as the aftermath.

- when we travel down here plants usually absorb us which is kind of annoying, but we've gotten used to it, because now we know it's our job!
- plants absorb us through their stomata, stomata are tiny holes in a plant leaf that absorb us for nutrients and energy which help them grow! this process is called photosynthesis.
- the rabbit is now consuming the carbon filled plants and the rabbit will unfortunately later on be consumed by humans thus carbon is being passed through the food chains, i.e., plants, animals, humans. from animals to humans' carbon is now being expelled back into the atmosphere because all living things respire, the rabbit has now released carbon back to the biosphere through fecal matter which will be eaten by molecules and will absorb into the soil and sediments in the ground continuing the cycle.
