  • There was a man called Mr peters and he was driving by forest of Savernake. while he was driving he heard what sounded like faint crying and thrashing so he went to see what was happening while he was running when he got there it was a swan that had become entangled in the thorns growing on the bank of the canal.
  • Falling action
  • When Mr peters was trying to help him the swan hisses and poked him and trashed him then he got the swan out The swan instantly assumed great dignity and sailed out to the middle of the water then he came back then he turned into a king and didn't look friendly and then mr peters ask for 3 wished and the king warned him it might not go as expected
  • Resolution
  • When Mr Peters got to his car he made his first wish and it was to have a wife as beautiful as the forest then came out of the forest the most beautiful won he ever saw and when she cooked his favorite meals She was gentle and friendly, busied herself about the house and garden, polished the bowls, milked the cows and mended16 his socks
  • Still alive
  • Later Mr peters saw crying and she had her arms round its neck and the swan’s head rested against her cheek then she told him that this is her sister and that he was once a swan Mr Peters wanted to make her sister a human or her a swan again but she declined them both
  • He felt bad for her so he used his 2nd wish to make her a swan so the next morning instead of Leita there was a sleeping swan lying across the bed with its head under its wing and he took her to the garden and woke her up and then she came up to him and rested her head lightly against his hand; next instant she was flying away over the trees toward the heart of the forest. then her and her sister came to visit him until one night passers-by along the road heard the mournful sound of two swans singing. All night the song went on, sweet and harsh, sharp and clear. In the morning Mr. Peters was found peacefully dead in his bed
  • Instead of mr peters died he lives and they live happily. and they have a party.
