The first step of the water cycle is evaporation. The water evaporates into a gas after the sun heats it up.The sun is important to this step.
Hey cloud did you know that 85 percent of water in the air comes from water evaporated from the oceans.
Transpiration
The moisture travels thew the plant and is released as a vapor, gas into the air. This process is called transpiration. This is the second step of the water cycle.
Condensation
The water droplets as liquid group together to form clouds. This is called condensation. This is the third step in the water cycle.
Precipitation
When enough droplets form inside the clouds it creates precipitation in the form of rain, sleet, snow or hail. This is the forth step of the water cycle.
Runoff
The rain moves downward and moves its way to a body of water this process is called runoff. Liquid run-off ground water.
Ground Water
Once the precipition reaches ground water the cycle starts over again. This the last step is the water cycle. Puddles of liquid.
