Well for industries I wouldrecommend Infrared cable and Optical cable.

What is an Optical cable ? May I know its advantages.

An optical cable is a cable that offers a high band with allowing communication in multichannel. Its benefits are : 1) Its highly suitable for large and harsh industrial environment and 2) has good speed.

Well its a nice cable but it is very expensive and difficult to install and maintain.

Sure, Infrared wires use a frequency that is not visible to human eye and it requires a transceiver. It is a cheap and secure option
