- Before WW1, Countries started to want to create their empires bigger. They began to take over smaller countries one by one. This then created competition to multiple country to take over more land then others and control all these smaller countries/empires. The conflict began and so WW1 was the next step to this conflict of power and land.
- Imperialism
- The European countries started to believe that they were better than each other and deserved more than anyone else. They wanted their own independence and power. They started fighting over land and resources because they thought that one country deserves more than the other, this caused big arguments and was a beginning to WW1.
- Nationalism
- No all of this belongs to me and my country!
- You are both wrong! I have all the rights to this land and everything else!

- The Last event/action that caused this disruption of the nations was the assassination of the heir to Austrian throne Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The Austrians blamed the Serbian Government as a Serbian had been the killer. This is when Austria Declared war on Serbia. Then so the Domino effect had started and the First World war had began.
