- A Farm in India- Farming Practices
- Hi, Sir! We are from the local school nearby. We need to know more about farming techniques for our work.
- Ok I shall help you. I am Munnilal, a farmer from Adilabad in Uttar Pradesh. I own a land measuring 1.5 hectares.
- I grow two crops every alternate year mostly wheat and pulses. I take advice from elders or officials about farming practices.
- I use a tractor on rent for ploughing, but my friends use traditional practices. I sell my produce at the mandi.
- Due to the lack of storage facilities, we might be forced to sell our products even when the market is not favourable.
