- Gee Linda, I knocked 'em dead out there! I’ve got charisma see, I walk in there and everyone knows me. 500 gross today in Providence alone, had to come home because there was no one else to sell to. They love me out there, Linda, love me.
- It’s like I’m a joke to them; I walk in and they see the fat, balding, old salesman. To make any sale I have to be at it for hours. Those other guys, it just comes to them so easy. We’ll never pay off the house, or the refrigerator, or the car. I’m a failure, I’ve failed my family and I’ve failed myself.
- You just don’t work hard enough, you gotta be more like me. I walk in there, crack a few jokes and shake a few hands, and I’ve made a sale. I did 500 gross in Providence and 700 gross in Boston. I knock 'em dead, I tell you, thousands of sales.
- I do work hard, I’m at it 10, 12 hours a day. I joke too much, that’s the issue, and I don’t dress to my advantage. I’ll never sell anything again, and I’ll fail my Linda and my boys.
