- My name is Megan, but everyone calls me Meg. I started Liberty University in January of 2020, and the first class I ever attended was a Monday morning 8:00 class. It was always interesting to me because one guy always sat in the corner and was always smiling. It confused me how the guy with the longboard was always excessively happy.
- COVID hit, and it ended up sending all the students home, so although I never had an entire conversation with this guy, he somehow always brightened up my day during a class. Then, one day he messaged me online, and we started talking.
- Fast forward a couple months, and we eventually scheduling a time for him to come and visit me in Lynchburg. he was from Georgia, so he had a very long drive. My family ended up loving him.
- Fast forward two years of dating, and he proposes to me at a Botanical Garden. He continues to be my biggest inspiration and best supporter through family stress and overwhelming life situations.
- We get emotional at his graduation because of how thankful we were to have met in college. My loving fiancé, CJ, graduated from Liberty University with a four-year degree in student ministries and just returned to LU for his graduate program. CJ also encouraged me to continue my education.
- As we advance with the wedding planning, we frequently review how each step in our relationship led us back to each other even after multiple long-distance seasons. We also acknowledge how, without the Lord's intervention and pre-planned vision for us, we wouldn't have been able to both make it through full-time work, full-time school and planning a wedding without his help.
