The National Assembly

The Fall of Bastille

Louis XVI, his death, and how the Reign of terror formed

Napolean and his Mistakes

The After Math

The 3 estates. The Clergy(Sitting), The nobility
(On the right), and the peasants pay everyone's taxes.(On the left) There's a bread shortage and the King and queen are being immature with their money.

Since estates 1, 2, and 3 had previously made the Estates General and, locked the third estate out, from that point on the 3rd estate made the National Assembly in an indoor tennis court, they would swear the tennis court oath that promised that they wouldn't stop meeting until they wrote a constitution for all the people in France.

(Docter- left), (city worker- middle), (lawyer- right)

The bastille was a prison in Paris where it was a place for weapons and ammunition to be stored. The prison symbolized injustices of the monarchy, and people thought that the people the king imprisoned were unjust, and they thought the prison needed to be taken down. So, they did something about it. And took it down. The date was July 14th, 1789 and is a day for all Parisians to celebrate

After King Louis's reign, his trial and execution in the year(s) 1793-1794 the reign of terror was born and became a death sentence for 300,000 people, most of those were peasants or members of the poor middle class. Robespierre was executed by guillotine and also by the middle class. After the reign of terror, France must again come up with a new government

After Napolean came to power things started to become good for the city like taxes got to be fairer, road systems got better, and maintained civil equality. Things were good until Napolean went downhill in economic warfare, Britain stopped, and then Napolean came up with the worst idea ever. He decided to invade Russia.

After Napoleon's final defeat it marked the end of the FR era, and instead of being absolute, the monarchy will return to a Constitutional monarchy. people still thought it would bring total control, but it brought Enlightenment ideas, increased nationalism, European leaders form alliances, and now united by a desire for self-rule.
