This is still a balancing act, but the tools have evolved.

- I wrote in a time of battleships and land armies. Today, we live in a world of globalized trade, interconnected economies, and instant communication. Yet, despite all these changes, my fundamental point holds true: geography still matters. You can see how the world's attention remains fixed on key regions of the Rimland. From Southeast Asia to the Middle East, these places are still the pivot points of global power.
