- The Caste System in India!!!
- Many of the higher people were taken out of the society and lived in temples. Some spent time meditating while the others were quite social.
- The highest level, priests and scholars. (Brahims)
- The next level down are the warriors. (Kshatriya)
- The warriors were the rulers of the town and cities. Any decision that the warriors made could be changed by the Brahims.
- The next level down were skilled farmers, merchants and craftsmen. (Vaishyas)
- These people were allowed and had the privilege to have a village in government. They also can live in nice houses. They can still live in nice houses and be respected.
- The lowest level were the the unskilled workers were the Sudras.
- The only jobs the caste could possibly receive would be a non-skilled worker in a home, a job on a farm, or in a business of cleaning.
- These people would most likely be buisness owners or peoiple of the government.
- These people would most likely be farm owners.
- In the bottom caste today, those people would be that are incapable of working.
- These people would most likely be doctors, presidents and dentists.

- Kshatriya
- Sudras
