- Every year since she was a kid (5-7), every since Isabella asked for real piano, her parents always gave her a toy piano which always made her sad since she wanted a real one to play.
- When Isabella finally turned 11 she got a keyboard, sort of like a real piano. She plays it everyday and sometimes her parents have to take it away from her.
- A while after she got the keyboard , things started going down hill for her parents. They started fighting constantly. Their final straw was the ¨Kool Aid"incident¨ when Isabella's parents fought over which color it should be then it all just spilled over.
- The next morning after the fight, Isabella's dad came into her room to have talk about last night. He explained to her how he and her mom haven't been agreeing lately and decided to get a divorce. Obviously Isabella was devastated to hear the news knowing that the people that have been there all her life were falling apart.
- Now both of Isabella's parents are in court deciding who gets custody of her, when, and how long. Her mom got custody of her for an entire week then on Sundays it is her dads turn for the next week.
- Since Isabella's parents don´t live together anymore, and her dad moved all the way to California for his job, she has to move back and forth to different houses every week living ¨two different lives¨ with each of her parents.
