- I will start off my video essay with a short introduction saying hello and establishing the issue I will be talking about during the video. I will also talk about why I think its important and have some stock images that represent the issue pop up to give a visual. In order to make it look more scholarly to fit the theme of college in the issue, I decided to film the video essay in a room with books in the background.
- Why are core classes(Gen-Ed) required in college?
- I will then say that, before we get into whether General Education classes should really be required or not in college, it's important to get an understanding of why they are required at the moment and why people who are for these classes think they are important. Then I will include a few video clips of sources that are for required core classes. After the video, I will do a voice over giving research and quoting some of the articles that I found, while showing these articles and pictures on core classes.
