- in the novel candy is an old swamper and he has a dog his dog eventually dies so he is sad and lonely when he hears george and lenny talking about thier dream he decides to ask to join in and when he does he pays half however when lenny kills curleys wife they decide not to finish it.
- why did lenny have to be and idiot and kill curleys wife
- In the novel curleys wife had a dream to become an actor a man told her she could definetly be in the pictures however when she was trying to get into it she met a man named curley seemed like a god guy for the first few months until she saw his true colors he was a fighter and didnt show his wife any attention evetually her dream was ruined and her husband was never there so she was lonely.
- i was supposed to be in the picture but i ended up with curley
- Throughout the novel George and Lenny often speak bout how they have this dream to buy land and live off the fat of it and have animals and everything else however, the dream is so far from reach because the men always blow their money however candy the old guy had been saving his stake for a while and he agrees to split it half and half.
- Please let me Tend the rabbits George i promise i wont hurt em.
- Iv'e Found some land and were gonna save up enough money to buy it then were gonna live off the fat of the land.
