- Thank you for travelling all the way from Africa to meet with me Dr. Stevens. May you please give me a brief description on your background image and then why you would want to work in Canada?
- Yes. My homelife in Africa was living in poverty in a very small town. The complications of not having very wide education options was the most troubling for most kids there, including me. I did basic elementary, middle and highschool education plus community college in another town. I've always wanted to get into writing but had no idea where to go and the expenses of the process.
- My town always had very high crime rates but it started increasing higher each year, until it wasn't a safe place anymore. When I got a newspaper advertising the writing job positions for your News, I just thought of what a big oppurtunity it was.
- I researched many places before but I wasn't quite impressed as I am when I started researching Canada. The crime rates were very low compared to the average percentages. If I immigrated to this country, not only would I be helping the population numbers but I would be also helping the low labour forces and paying the government taxes.
