  • Hi, my name is Chanel Smith. My discipline concentration is Media Analysis. I am interested in this field because it is necessary knowledge for my future job.
  • Marketing became a discipline of study in Australia at the Victorian universities in the early 1960s
  • Media Analysis branched off from Journalism, Communication, Radio, Television, etc. Programs. The reason for its branch off was because of expansion and advance technology which is the reason it was created in the latter.
  • Marshall's studies are considered the cornerstone for the beginning of media analysis. His book, "Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man" that he published in 1964 had a lot of impact on the how media effects communication.
  • "Media is the Message."

  • Media Analysis evolved when Communication studies was branching out with more and more areas of study.
  • HOW HAS MEDIA ANALYSIS EVOLVED?
  • The hero's of Media Analysis is the internet because without the internet media analysis would not exist
  • The Villains of Media Analysis is time and expansion. It is constantly updating and changing with advancements in technology.
  • Victims of Media Analysis are its students. To learn from such a diversified field can be considered a weakness in the field.
  • I believe that the answer is both. Though it is good to be diverse and expand out of our normalities and learn new things, we are also moving further away from our core studies which will always keep us in critical research/
  • With Media Analysis's many approaches and diversities, is it considered a weakness or a strength when studying?
  • Strategie Theories Mashall McLuhan study for "the medium is the message" in its effect in communication in media. The medium affects how the media is delivered by the person and how the other person is receiving that media, while the characteristics of the medium effects the content in its delivery.'' National Center for Biotechnology Information did research that proved with virtual technology is a useful tool on the internet and that training is available almost everywhere.
  • Strategie Methods Media Analysis gains new knowledge by concentrating on new media Another way that they are able to gain knowledge is by studying modern day culture so then they can relate this with trends,
  • Having MEDIA ANALYSIS as a background of study if favored amongst being hired in the professional world Media analysis teaches people about modern technology. Media Analysis teaches people about people and culture so you can have better understanding of how to make your product more successful with what people want.
