- As-salam Alaikum today I will be explaining the origin of the propeht ibrahim
- In the realm of Babylon, icons were revered like they were divine beings. Ibrahim's dad Aazer was a notable artist and he would make symbols from stone or wood. As a youngster, Ibrahim would watch his dad work, frequently involving the completed icons as toys.
- As he became older, Ibrahim turned out to be much more persuaded that the idols his dad made were bogus. He would regularly address, 'how should sculptures of wood and stone be divine beings?' Especially considering the sculptures would have no ability to one or the other advantage or damage, being simple items.
- One night, Ibrahim travelled up to a mountain to watch the sky and observe nature. A while later, Ibrahim heard a voice calling him – it was none other than his Lord, Allah. He commanded Ibrahim to submit and become a Muslim.
- Ibrahim now had a brand new mission – to call his people to the Truth and help them accept Allah as their one true God. First, he turned to his father who he loved so dearly.
- This would be his first big obstacle in his prophethood . Thats all the time for today in the beginning of the prophets story. See you soon inshallah !!
