- One day, I decided to steal a pack of gum. I went to the store and I took a 6 pack of gum. I was nervous and I think the clerk noticed. I approached the door, I lifted my leg to step out and… I was caught. The owner saw me and called the police. Suddenly, 12 cop cars arrived at the store and took me away. I apologized and gave the gum back but they still arrested me. They sent me to trial and before I knew it, I was sentenced to death. My head was to be removed and placed in front of the store as a triumph-like statement. I told them this was in violation of my rights, all I did was take something worth 2 dollars! So I called the President (as you do) and he agreed it was an unfair punishment. Now me and the president are best buds.
- Another time, I was on my way to school and a group of geese were blocking the road. I tried honking at them but they wouldn't move! So I had to go the long way to school and I was 10 minutes late. I walked into my class and I explained why I was late. I apologized and walked to my seat but she started screaming!“You must be punished! Here, eat this pencil. ” she said. I told her that was crazy and that I wouldn't do it. She said that I shouldn't make excuses and I have to be punished. I told her it was against my rights and she told me that cruel and unusual punishments were not a part of any laws or rights. So I had to eat a pencil.
