- Hans who made the princess laugh.
- This is a fairy tale from Norway.Once there was a King who had a beautiful daughter. The princess had one problem she could not laugh.
- He that can make my daughter laugh shall marry her and be a prince!
- Men lined up and many tried to make the princess laugh but no one could.
- A man with three sons sent the oldest two and they failed. He told the youngest son that he should not go. Hans the youngest son begged and begged until his father let him go.
- Please father! I can make her laugh and marry her..
- Along the way, Hans met an old lady that gave him a goose. The women said that the goose had magic. It would help him on his quest to make the princess laugh.
- As Hans walked along people wanted to pet the goose but as they did they all became stuck to its feathers. Soon five different people were stuck to the goose outside the castle. When the princess saw this she burst into fits of laughter.
- When the king found out that Hans was the reason for his daughter's laughter he arranged a grand wedding. Hans and the princess lived happily ever after!
