- In the beginning, Bud wakes up because someone or something stepped on a twig. He got his pocket knife ready and was trying to find where the figure was standing. The figure then jumped on him saying he was sorry if he wasn't a kid named Bud from the home. Bud then knew that this "figure" was Bugs. They started talking about being on the Lam. Then they decided they were going west. They started talking about being brothers, and made a promise that they were kind of like siblings.
- They went inside the library to find out how to go west, they found out that this place called "Hooperville" has a train near it. They start trying to find "Hooperville", they find what Bugs calls "a cardboard jungle" that is "Hooperville". They see a bunch on people gathered around a campfire, they flip a coin to see who has to go and talk to them. The coin decides that Bud goes. Bud starts talking to them and he finds out that Bugs and him can eat that night but they have to wash the dishes.
- Bud and Bugs had to do the dishes with a girl named deza and a little boy. When they were finished Bud and Bugs were really tired so they went to bed. When they woke
