- INT. CAB OF BIG RIG - DUSKFRANK struggles to find his appointed destination on a map while at the same time looking for a suitable hotel using his copy of the Green book.FRANKDamn these hayseed towns! How am I going to drop off this load before it gets dark?
- As he gets ready to pull out into traffic, Frank hears the banshee-like squeal of a siren. A police car has pulled over behind him. His eyes get wide and sweat appears on his brow, but he decides to put on a friendly smile and make it through this run-in with the local police.
- EXT. SIDE OF ROAD - NIGHTOFFICERStep out of the truck, boy. Bring your license and bill of lading while your at it.
- Despite providing the required documentation, Frank is forced to wait while the police officer roots through his cab and trailer.OFFICEREverything seems to be in order... I can see by looking at you that you don't belong here. Why are you blocking my road with your POS truck?
- FRANKI'm sorry, sir. I was just checking my map. I didn't mean to block traffic.OFFICERYou will show me the proper respect by calling me Officer Smith! Now I need you to move this hunk of junk down the road. There aren't any hotels for your kind in our town.
- Frank thanks the officer and slowly climbs back into his rig. He waits for the patrol car to make a u-turn and pulls back into traffic. Right away he is passed by a new Chevy that haphazardly pulls of into the parking lot of a comfortable hotel. FRANKDamn. I'm gonna be late and have my pay docked by old man Rathbone.
