- Proclamation of 1763: This act is where there was a imaginary boarder in the Appalachian Mountains that split up natives and colonist. A lot of people ignored this Proclamation.
- Townshend Act/Reaction
- Who needs to buy from the British, buy locally.
- Sugar and Stamp Act: The British raised taxes for Sugar in 1764 and Stamp in 1765. This helped pay for Britain's debt from the French and Indian War.
- Boston Massacre

- No Taxation Without Representation: The colonist where furious when Parliament passed taxes without the colonist sayings. Later the colonist referenced Magna Carta, gaining representation.
- Boston Tea Party
- Townshend Act/Reaction: In 1767 a new set of taxed passed, creating protests from the colonists. Colonists started to boycott British goods. Colonist made 2 groups, The Son of Liberty and The Daughter of Liberty, these groups would threaten those who bought British goods.

- Boston Massacre: March 5th 1770, British soldiers were sent to protect their Customs Officials from the colonists. The colonist were protesting and throwing rocks at the soldiers and made the soldiers panic, they started to fire at the crowd. The first person who was shot was Crispus Attucks.

- Boston Tea Party: December 16th 1773, angered colonists dressed up as Native Americans and dumped 342 chests of tea off ships into the Boston Harbor. The British responded with the Intolerable Acts in 1774 that held 4 harsh laws.
