- Karim is pack-british teenager, living in the suburbs of London, in a conflictual and unhappy family. He craves to live an adventure and to live in London. He does not understand the point of life, although he knows he wants to live intensely and try out mistism, alcohol and sexual activities.
- His family soon breaks apart because of his father's affair with another woman called Eva. Karim leaves his mother and his little brother Allie and goes to live in Eva's House with his affair. He does not see his mother and Allie during weeks and thus the bonds with his families are fragilise.
- Karim has new experiences concerning alcoohol and sexual activities, however he is still not satisfied and searches for something else. He often goes to The Nashville with Eva's son, Charlie. It's in this bar that he discovers the Punk movement and their intense way of life, which is made of hatred and anger.
