- Farming began in the Indus Valley civilization in about 7000 B.CAs they continued farming, their supply and population grew.Later on, well-planned cities such asHarappa and Mohenjo-Daro had developed and they were the centers of advancement.Archaeologists even discovered irrigationchannels, granaries, and brick-lined sewers.
