mr. nucleus, would you mind telling us a little about yourself and your job?
here we are! this here is mr. nucleus.
I'd love too!
let me introduce you to my friend, mrs. membrane!
my name is mr. nucleus. I am the control center of this cell. I am like the boss of all the workers here at the cell factory. I control the factory and make sure everything is going well!
hello! you can call me cell membrane. I am a protective layer surrounding this cell. I am like a factory worker who brings in supplies, and ships out yummy ice cream treats!
that's a good idea, cell membrane!
mr. nucleus, you should show them our ribosome, mitochondrion, cell wall, endoplasmic reticulum, and chloroplasts!
this here is one of our ribosomes. it produces protein for our cell. it is a bit similar to the ice cream machines that produce all of those yummy ice cream treats!
now, here's our mitochondrion! a mitochondrion breaks down sugars Inyo energy. much like a power supply house for an ice cream factory.
Next is our cell wall here. A cell wall is a strong, protective, and supportive layer around the cell membrane, much like the walls of an ice cream factory.
