- Act I, Scene ii. When Ferdinand and Miranda meet for the first time. They both fall in love with each other the first time they saw each other.
- Act III, Scene i. Ferdinand carries in logs to impress Miranda and Prospero. Miranda tells him to not work so hard, and they begin to further express their feelings for one another.
- Act III, Scene i. Ferdinand and Miranda promise to get married. Prospero spies on them to see if Ferdinand truly loves his daughter.
